Companies from Spain and El Salvador shared their experiences on solar photovoltaic energy generating project development during the workshop "Photovoltaic Integration in the grids of Spain and El Salvador", organized by the Exports and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) together with the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF) with the support of the European Fund of Regional Development of the European Union and ICEX – Spain´s Exports and Investment Promotion Agency.   "We hope that this meeting will be a useful tool for sharing information about the development of the renewable energy sector such as solar photovoltaic. The Government of El Salvador, through the Exports and Investments Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA), participated this morning in the Second Finance and Investment Central American Summit, which was organized by LatinFinance. The event seeks to connect regional private and public leaders with finances and investments with the international community and explore new opportunities and barriers of the market and the strategic sectors in Central America.   On behalf of El Salvador´s Government, Mr. Sigfrido Reyes, President of the Exports and Investment Promotion Agency, PROESA, participated in the panel entitled "Foreign Direct Investment: Key Sectors and Engines of Economic Growth", where he spoke about the opportunities of investment in El Salvador within strategic areas such as: textiles and apparel, energy, aeronautics, agro-industry, light manufacturing, tourism and offshore business services. The Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) is participating in the Renewable Energy Central America Week (RECAM Wek), organized by The Green Power Conferences of England, which aims to generate knowledge and discussion about investment on renewable energy.   "Our participation in the RECAM WEEK is very important, because we can collaborate, on behalf of the Government of El Salvador, to put our country on the energy investments map", president of PROESA, Sigfrido Reyes, said.   During the event, PROESA is also promoting the bidding process of 150 MW of non-conventional renewable energy, in the solar photovoltaic and wind energies. In addition, PROESA will identify investment projects in the electricity sector in neighboring countries and their policies to attract investments in energy projects.   PROESA will participate on the discussion panel called "What are the opportunities in solar energy in Central America?", where PROESA will present the advantages of investing in El Salvador.   Other topics discussed are identification of markets that provide more solar energy opportunities, energy prices, energy structure, impact of energy prices, supply and demand in the energy sector. The Government of El Salvador, through the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) participated in the inaugural ceremony of the First Central American Workshop on Energy Storage and Intelligent Networks, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) with GM Group, Wartsila and Prinel.   "PROESA supports initiatives like this, which promote generation of greater awareness about the benefits of energy storage, not only for El Salvador but for the region. The Government of El Salvador, through Export and Investment Promotion Agency  of El Salvador (PROESA) inaugurates the fifth edition of the Programa Exportar Paso a Paso (EPAP) seeking that more companies with potential for exportation materialize sales of goods and services abroad.   This launch was attended by the president of PROESA, Sigfrido Reyes, executive director of the National Commission for Micro and Small Enterprises (CONAMYPE), Ileana Rogel, and businessmen with potential for exportation, who were informed about the services PROESA provides with of EPAP. This include market information about destinations to export, export potential diagnosis, international trade and commercial intelligence training, export requirements, logistics and export prices.   "With this program, we hope to contribute to expand the export base of our country. In its previous editions, EPAP has benefited more than 270 companies from different sectors and we hope to increase that number with the 2016 edition of this program", President of PROESA, Sigfrido Reyes, said.   Of these participating companies, 177 conducted trade missions abroad, where they made export business. The Export and Investment Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) inaugurated this morning the First Agrifood Forum called "The importance of packaging in the marketing of export products", which provided tools to access new markets competitively, to exporters and potential exporters.   "This forum is a way PROESA boost the growth of our export community, which is a great contribution to the economy of our country," president of PROESA, Sigfrido Reyes, said.   The forum showed the importance of using different packaging in the agribusiness, food and drinks sectors, and important elements of the design and development of a packaging, such as paper addressed, were reported.   It was attended by speakers specialists in various topics, such as use of technology in the packaging, storage and transport; digital strategies applied to the packaging, identification of strategic customers and markets for export, and best practices for the diversification of export markets. El Salvador Government, through the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador  (PROESA) hosted the Forum El Salvador: Opportunities Beyond Expectations, which took place in New York City, in the United States. Awareness campaign on export culture seeks market diversification and the generation of a new profile of trained producers to export to international markets.     The government of El Salvador, through the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) bring out the first awareness campaign for the Salvadoran population on foreign trade, under the "National Export Culture Project".   The campaign aims to foster a new attitude towards our country’s international trade relations, support the diversification of Salvadoran export base, and provide training tools to compete abroad and support the building of a new profile of formed  producers and people interested in growing into international markets.   "To encourage the growth and diversification of national exports, we need the strengthening and development of a national export culture that seeks the employment generation and economic development.
