On this October 2 and 3, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known in Spanish as PROESA) will participate in the Expo Congress Packaging & Logistics 2019. The team of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known in Spanish as PROESA) visited the facilities of a company that produces plastic goods for home and office use, Industrias SanChia, S.A. OF C.V. The firm is dedicated to the manufacture of cabinets, furniture, chairs, folding tables, shelves, baskets, board games, etc.    “We want every home and medical company to have a Sanchia product, and that will become a reality, with your help. The president of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known in Spanish as PROESA), Salvador Gómez Góchez, visited the Los Nonualcos. During the journey, he met the shrimp farm Las Animas, Zacatecoluca, La Paz, which holds 42 hectares of water mirrors and produces about 1.2 million pounds of shrimp a year. Together with the PROESA team, he also met with members of the Asociación de Productores Agroindustriales Orgánicos de El Salvador (APRAINORES), producers and exporters of cashew, mango, pineapple and cocoa, in Tecoluca, San Vicente.   The objective of the visit was to know firsthand the facilities, processes and needs of both institutions to support their growth.   “The farm Las Animas is in the process of expanding 20 hectares its facilities and is recognized for the use of technology in shrimp production and I appreciate today's visit, because a government cabinet official had never visited us before,” said the owner of the company.   During the meeting, President Gómez Góchez expressed; "we come to your disposal, to listen to your needs and offer PROESAS’ services to enhance the farm and to perform any diligence so that the product can be exported to international markets."   On…
PROESA strengthens cooperation ties with national exporters   The president of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known is Spanish as PROESA), Salvador Gómez Góchez, encountered with members of the Association of Organic Agroindustry Producers of El Salvador (APRAINORES in Spanish), who are producers and exporters of cashew, mango, pineapple and cocoa in Tecoluca, San Vicente.   The visit aimed to recognize firsthand the facilities, processes and needs of the association to assist their growth. El Salvador promotes Export Forum   The Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known in Spanish as PROESA) along with the National Micro and Small Business Commission (CONAMYPE in Spanish), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, and the Corporation of Exporters of El Salvador (known in Spanish as COEXPORT) hosted today the Export Forum 2019. PROESA held business opportunities training with Costa Rica in virtual format      The Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known in Spanish as PROESA) attained, during the week of September 2 to 6, the first training on the subject of commercial opportunities in virtual format. Both Salvadorans and Costa Rican firms of diverse market areas took part in the training.   The activity pursued to point out potential Costa Rican buyers triggered by the exporting supply of El Salvador and with intention to consolidate medium-term trading. It’s expected to engage at least 25 commercial opportunities for exporting firms of varying productive areas. Firms belonging to food, beverages, agroindustry and diverse manufactures sectors took part in the training. These participating companies work as manufacturers of food packaging machines, marketers of ethnic foods, pre-cooked and frozen foods, companies in the bakery, biscuit and paint sectors, among others. Química Nava starts operations in the country with the support of PROESA   The Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known in Spanish as PROESA) took part today on the unveiling of the chemical plant of Química Nava, corporation devoted to production and merchandising of chemical goods for the textile branch. This firm has Italian-Peruvean background.   Química Nava decided to invest in the country through the establishment of a production plant of chemical textiles and a marketer. From then on, the firm has focused in operating while meeting the legal obligations required by the country.             The investment carried out by Química Nava in El Salvador comprises a land purchase, where the industrial warehouse is placed, in the International Duty-free Zone; where the construction of the 10,000 m2 plant and equipment (reactors and blenders) will take place. This is a capital intensive company that projects to create 50 direct jobs.   The manufacturing processes of the firm extend to mixtures diluting and chemical synthesis to obtain products such as detergent, enzymes, silicones, and others. PROESA strengthens trust bonds with cooperative dedicated to the production and processing of fruits and vegetables   Last week, the unit of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known in Spanish as PROESA) met with the board of directors of Jocoteros de Ahuachapán de R.L. (ACOPAJ DE R.L. in Spanish), dedicated to the production and processing of jocotes and loroco. PROESA provides specialized training to Salvadoran businesswomen   “Digital content creation for enterprises and products” is the topic of the second workshop regarding specialized training in e-commerce, taught by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (known in Spanish as PROESA), in the context of the  Central American Regional Economic Integration Project (INTEC in Spanish) executed by the International Trade Center (ITC) in Central America.   This activity belongs to a project created in 2018 called “Linking Central American women's companies with the crafts and interior decoration market”, which is foreseen to last two years.
