Under the Export Promotion Strategy, the Government of El Salvador held the second edition of the International Forum Export of Services, a coordinated effort between the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA), the Ministry of Economy and the Technical Secretariat of the Presidency that has the support of the Special Fund Resources Privatization Hailing ANTEL. The difference be1tween last year is that this second Forum focuses on specific services, most notably are the software development, graphic design, digital animation and mobile applications, sectors that are mainly composed of small and medium enterprises that have shown a very favorable performance in recent years. As part of the aeronautics scholarship program Aeroman-Nonualcos and AirSupport-Nonualcos, there were graduated in Aviation Maintenance Technician the first fellows of the program that supports Aeroman and the Association of Municipalities of Nonualcos (ALN), under the coordination of the Government of El Salvador through the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA). PROESA promoted and articulated the institutional effort that permitted to grant  scholarships to Carlos Briceño Iraheta, José Romero Cornejo, Eduardo Rivas Hernandez and Mario Menjivar Alfaro, who graduated last April 25 in Aviation Maintenance Technician of the Universidad Don Bosco (UDB). Eduardo Rivas and Mario Menjivar, like his colleagues, agreed that the support they received these three years was very complete. The Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) participated in the Second National Congress of Higher Education, called "Entailment higher education with the world of work", which aims is to promote vocational training according to the needs of the country. This conference is organized by the Ministry of Education of El Salvador. Salvador Salguero, director of Investment of PROESA, gave the conference "Vision of foreign investment with respect to the requirements of trained human resources in the country." In this conference it was presented a diagnosis based on a survey of investors who are already customers of PROESA about their perception of the business climate in regard to human resources trained in El Salvador. The Government of El Salvador, though the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA), supported the participation of seven Salvadoran companies in the Food Taipei 2013, 23o. edition of the most important food fair in Asia, which took place the days from June 26 to the 29, the amount traded was more than U.S $740,000. This Wednesday June 19th the Government of El Salvador through the Ministry of Public Works, Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and the Salvadoran Foundation for Economic and Social Development, through the Competitiveness Initiative inaugurated El Salvador Logistics Forum 2030 with the support of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) and the United Nations System in El Salvador. The Government of El Salvador through the Export And Investment Promotion Agency Of El Salvador (PROESA), the National Energy Board, the Superintendent of Electricity and Telecommunications and other public entities, with the Electricity distributor Del Sur, S.A. de C.V,   developed the third meeting of information about the long term process of public tendering  to supply 350 MW. In this meeting they revealed that in july 17th, 12 companies have registered to submit their tender allowing them to enter to the contest and supply 30% of the country´s electricity demand. The requirements can be removed until july 31st. The Government of El Salvador, through the Export And Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA), supported companies involved in the business conference LAC Flavors, which took place between 25 and 26 July in Granada, Nicaragua. In it, Salvadoran companies traded over U.S. $ 830,000 and 66 business meetings with entrepreneurs interested in the products of our country. The six Salvadoran companies that participated in the business conference showed, among other products, frozen fruit, drinks, beans in grain, flour and roasted coffee, which allows a better understanding of the products of El Salvador in the world, and contributes to increase and expand the exports to international markets from the agribusiness, food and beverage.
